Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver & Truck-Mounted Hydraulic Crane Operator to transport pipes, machinery, and industrial equipment between our workshop, suppliers, and customer sites. The successful candidate must be able to drive the assigned truck safely and operate its mounted hydraulic loading crane for controlled loading and unloading.
Responsibilities
- • Drive the assigned flatbed or medium-duty truck safely and follow scheduled delivery instructions.
- • Transport pipes, industrial components, tools, and equipment to designated locations.
- • Operate the truck-mounted hydraulic crane within its rated capacity and approved operating limits.
- • Conduct pre-use checks of the vehicle, crane, controls, outriggers, and lifting accessories.
- • Position the vehicle and deploy outriggers on suitable ground before lifting.
- • Follow load charts, lifting instructions, exclusion zones, and signals from designated personnel.
- • Coordinate with competent riggers and banksmen during lifting activities.
- • Secure loads using suitable restraints and check stability before and during transport.
- • Check delivery documents and obtain the required collection or delivery acknowledgments.
- • Report defects promptly and maintain vehicle, crane, and trip records.
Requirements
- • Valid Kuwait driving licence appropriate to the assigned truck.
- • Minimum 3 years of relevant truck-driving experience.
- • Demonstrated experience operating truck-mounted hydraulic loading cranes.
- • Relevant crane operator training, competency certification, and site approvals as required for assigned work.
- • Knowledge of load charts, lifting capacity, outrigger setup, load restraint, and safe loading practices.
- • Experience transporting pipes, machinery, or industrial equipment is preferred.
- • Ability to communicate clearly with dispatchers, site personnel, riggers, and banksmen.
- • Willingness to complete practical driving and crane operation assessments.
